Waterman House

Lightsource were approached to source decorative pendants for the Waterman Bistro and Tasting Room in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

Given its prominent location, the lighting scheme needed to attract attention from passersby while creating a welcoming and comfortable dining environment. Eye-catching pendants provide a striking visual focal point, while track spotlights with bespoke internal louvres, typically used in museum settings, were carefully specified to highlight square artwork on the back wall. This allowed the design team to illuminate the pieces precisely, shaping the light to enhance their presence while minimising unwanted light spillage
