Neighbourhood Cafe

Lightsource was tasked to develop a warm and understated lighting scheme for Neighbourhood Cafe in Belfast, supporting its role as a welcoming neighbourhood destination. The brief focused on creating a calm and intimate atmosphere while maintaining a cohesive lighting language throughout the space.

A layered approach combines soft pendant lighting with discreet integrated illumination to provide comfortable ambient light and subtly highlight joinery and key architectural elements. The overall scheme remains simple and architectural, allowing light to enhance materiality, guide movement, and contribute to a relaxed and inviting café environment.
