Lake House

Lightsource partnered with the architects to deliver a comprehensive lighting design for this newly built rustic yet contemporary dwelling, set on a spectacular site overlooking Lough Erne. The scheme was carefully developed to complement the surrounding landscape while supporting both functionality and atmosphere throughout the home.

With panoramic views playing a central role in the design, the exterior lighting was planned to extend the visual connection to the landscape into the evening without overpowering the natural setting. Spike lights were subtly positioned within planting beds, while mushroom-style bollards provide soft, organic illumination along closer to the house itself. Selected for their minimalist form and rust coloured finish, the pathway bollards blend seamlessly into the surroundings, while still providing ample path light.

Internally, a curated selection of decorative fittings in natural finishes introduces warmth and texture, reflecting the palette of materials used throughout the architecture and reinforcing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
