Two New Designs From Our Favourite Spanish Lighting Design House.

Ihana

Ihana uses simple shapes to draw ‘a silhouette of light’. Soft lighting suspended by a rigid metal structure creates a light fitting suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors. The modular nature of the Ihana means that you can specify it with up to 14 opal diffusers, with a minimum of two.

The Ihana comes with dim to warm technology, meanign that not only can you dim this fitting to your preffered output, but create emotion by changing the colour temperature from 3000k to as low as 1800k. The hanging height of the structure is also customisable to allow for both high and low ceiling installation.

The word ‘Ihana’ means ‘exquisite’ in Finnish. The initial concept was born by its designer moving to an old studio in Helsinki and she couldn’t find the perfect lighting to illuminate her new space. The result, a contemporary and timeless design that puts beauty at the heart of its form.

Ambrosia

The Ambrosia is designed from a tubular structure with gentle lines that hang from the ceiling. The light gently illuminates any type of surface while high quality, diffused, ambient light fills any space perfectly. Adjustable height ranges from 40 to 60cm allow for flexibility according to your ceiling height.

The LED tube is available in 2200k, 2700k and 3000k, all of which are dimmable. Standard lengths of 120, 180, 210 and 315cm are available in either black or brass metal.

The Ambrosia started out as a bespoke piece for a chain of boutique’s in Madrid. The designers at Ciszak Dalmas Studio and Joan Gaspar revised the initial concept to combine simplicity, aesthetics and functionality. The low profile and modular system creates a soft and surprising range of light fittings.
