Lightsource hit the right notes for London Marriott

London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale, located in exciting North West London, offers effortless access to downtown London. You can experience the charm of the area by exploring Maida Vale by canal and visit the many shops and restaurants on the waterways.

Sourcing and supplying designer Lighting

Lightsource’s property management client requested assistance in sourcing and supplying a selection of designer lighting that complimented the client’s brief and to take inspiration from the musical history and artistic culture of the area – with the famous Abbey Road crossing just minutes away.

Aromas Lighting

The Maida Vale ‘Studio’, a brand-new area at the front of the hotel complements the existing events space perfectly. Lightsource recommended the Aromas ‘Abby’ wall lights to be used in the break-out rooms. The fixture has four circular discs of differing sizes, reminiscent of 7 & 12” vinyl records.

Lee Broom Lighting

For the Studio lounge & breakout space, Lightsource recommended the Lee Broom Fulcrum 5-piece cluster pendant. A slimline pendant made from polished gold suspended around a central sphere. Do you see a set of hanging microphones? Well, we thought so too, and certainly in keeping with the musical theme.

Vesoi Lighting

Finally, the wall lighting for the lounge area the client opted for the Vesoi ‘tambour – translated as the ‘drum’. Another great tie in with the overall design aesthetics and interior theme. The hotel upgrade is certainly music to our eyes.
