What Makes BEGA Market Leaders in Outdoor Lighting?

1. 20 year replacement and availability guarantee.

It is rare to find lighting brands that make such bold claims. As Bega design and produce their LED modules in-house, they know exactly what components are required to make up all of their fittings. This means that they can safely promise the delivery of replacement modules, specific to your lighting, for at least 20 years.

2. Trademark finishes and treatments.

BEGA Coating Technology is the combination of two technologies for the protection of metalic surfaces. BEGA Unidure is a weather-resistant powder coating that meets global standards for weathering and light stability.

BEGA Tricoat offers optimal surface protection and corrosion resistance. It works due to carefully coordinated inorganic and organic coating processes on special alloys.

BEGA offer beautiful standard finishes along with the ability to produce any RAL colour on custom products.

4. Thermal Control

The direct effect of temperature on an LED’s lifespan is a well known concept. BEGA have developed trademarked thermal management techniques to get the most out of their products.

Should the ambient temperature in the area of your light fitting rise dangerously high for the integrity of the components, BEGA Thermal Switch will temporarily cut them off to protect the components. BEGA Thermal control will temporarily reduce the output of the light fitting to prolong the life of the temperature sensitive components.

5. Reflectors

The reflector design of all BEGA’s products ensures that glare is kept to a minimum and does not effect the light output.

6. Design Details

There are hundreds of micro-details that make BEGA industry leaders. One that we love here at Lightsource is the fact that that any pre-tapped holes are combined with high-quality stainless screws to ensure there is no ability for corrosion or galvanic corrosion.

The high efficiency of their LED chips and dimming capabilities of 0-100% make it easy to specify BEGA on any job.

Where are you Likely to use BEGA Light Fittings?

There is a use case for BEGA luminaires in almost any setting. All light fittings are capable of producing the highest quality light output for the most stringent regulations in commercial environments, yet aesthetically pleasing enough to add design flair to residential projects.
