Estiluz Lighting
About
In 1969, Gerard Masdeu Jordà founded Estiluz, a high-end decorative lighting firm, focused on innovative designs and handmade finishes. The Spanish company has been refining their craft for fifty years.
As a family-owned business, the Masdeu family combined their talents to build the brand. Gerard promoted creativity, his father, Anton, and his brother, Eduard, contributed metalwork and machinery knowledge.
The quality of their lighting designs attracted attention at international fairs, leading Estiluz to open its first branch office in New York in 1993. The brand also works with German engineers and production companies.
Estiluz gives emerging designers a chance to make their talent known. They have worked with designers such as; Aqueni, Boti de Dominicis Studio, Estudi Ribaudí, Nahtrang Studio, Zachi Jacobovich, Jordi Blasi, Leonardo Marelli, CrousCalogero, Joan Cinca / laproduqtora, Estudio Estiluz, Aparentment, Mermelada Estudio, Oiko Design Office, Estudi{H}ac, Francesc Rifé, Josep Lluís Xuclà, Ximo Roca Diseño, Goula / Figuera and Serge & Robert Cornelissen.
The company experiments with new shapes and materials but always stays faithful to their solid principles. These are that their designs must have; robustness, durability, impeccable finishes and family spirit.
Estiluz is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of decorative lighting products. They specialise in lamps with timeless design that offer high quality materials and finishes. They manufacture and assemble in the brand’s plant to achieve a personal and unique result.
