CAD Technician
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 0900 – 1700, 7.5 hours per day Holidays: 30 days inc. Stats Salary: TBC – Dependant upon ability & experience
Responsibilities include
- To provide lighting layout plans using AutoCAD.
- Generating quotations to support designs.
- Communicating with customers & suppliers via email & telephone
- Producing manufacturing drawings for bespoke lighting products based on client specifications
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Understanding of architectural drawings and ability to create lighting schemes using AutoCAD
- Show interest/ability to learn technical aspects of lighting such as loading and dimming
Desirable
- Knowledge of LED lighting, lighting design and controls
- Experience with Sketchup
- Experience with Dialux/Relux lighting design software
- Knowledge of electrical installations and building services
- Experience in product design and manufacturing processes
