About Buster + Punch
Buster + Punch began building custom motorbikes in East London. The company’s work is inspired by the fashion, music and subculture scenes in London. They highly value collaboration and work with street artists, bike builders and fashion designers to create extraordinary home details. Buster + Punch crave innovation in everything from light bulbs, dimmer switches and pendant lamps to door handles and cabinet pulls. The Buster + Punch label was launched by renowned London architect and industrial designer Massimo Buster Minale in 2013. Previously, Massimo worked as an architect at Foster & Partners and then Richard Rogers. It was this experience that allowed him to chase his passion. Talking about his journey, he stated:
“I was working as an architect by day and making custom motorbikes by night. In a garage in Shoreditch, East London, I taught myself how to transform stock vintage motorbikes into one-off customs. I made all the parts from scratch and started selling my motorbikes to London’s most notorious. Being an architect, requests soon turned from motorbikes to home fittings and I set about making everything from door handles to toilet roll holders. The seed was planted and my love child between architecture and motorbikes was born, his name – Buster + Punch.” The company has collaborated with a variety of other businesses and clients such as; Travis Barker, Cake Electric Motorbike, Jon Olsson, Tom Sellers, Rolls Royce, Endless, ILOVEDUST, Haeckles, Q Awards, Boneshaker Chompers, Justin Deakin, Harrods, Mutt Motorcycle and The Butcher’s Kitchen.
Buster + Punch Lighting
The company’s lighting section boasts a collection of solid metal pendant lights, wall lights, spotlights, ceiling lights, chandeliers and LED bulbs. Each presenting the signature Buster + Punch look, Linear, Cross-Knurl or Cast. Each is finished with signature details like Buster + Punch coin screws and torx screws. The lighting collection consists of the Exhaust, Caged, Hooked, Heavy Metal and Forked lines, and are all designed to work with LED light bulbs.
Buster + Punch Pendants
Each Buster + Punch pendant is made from solid metals and stone and finished with the brand’s signature knurling pattern and coin screw detailing.
Forked Pendant
This light pendant combines machined and cast solid metal, all refined by hand. It features Buster + Punch’s cast forked detailing and signature diamond-cut linear knurling. The light comes complete with a hand blown opal glass globe and Forked-specific dimmable Buster Bulb, casting a functional ambient light in this configuration.
Buster & Punch Chandeliers
Designed to enhance décor styles and bring luxury in an instant. Buster + Punch chandeliers work perfectly in both residential and commercial settings. Available in a range of styles and finishes, with solid knurled metal and matte rubber detailing combined with bold steel light pendants. These chandeliers work in harmony with Buster + Punch’s other lighting ranges.
Hero Chandelier
This Buster and Punch hero pendant light is designed to be the focal point and Hero of any room, in the home or a commercial setting. Cutting edge design, created for those with an eye for detail, the Buster and Punch Hero Pendant is a statement piece of lighting. With either side offering a different visual interpretation, the style and versatility of this light is unlike any other.
Buster + Punch Spotlights
A range of trailblazing spotlights inspired by motorbike exhausts and designed to elevate functional lighting. Each spotlight is fitted with a beautifully machined, solid metal baffle which captures light and creates a delicate metallic glow. They work great in both residential and commercial spaces.
Exhaust Spotlight
An adjustable spotlight made from graphite powder coated metal with solid steel detailing. A rainbow of blue, purple and yellow, ensure that no two finishes are ever the same. The baffle captures light and creates a delicate metallic glow, whilst a honeycomb filter emits a precise, non-glare, directional spotlight. The spotlight also features machined torx screws made from solid stainless steel. The spotlight is fully adjustable, comes with a flush ceiling rose and fits a GU10 bulb.
Buster + Punch Wall Lights
Designed to enhance any decor, these wall lights combine brushed steel, solid metal and rubber with polished marble to provide you with a bold light fixture for your walls. With the brand’s signature penny buttons and captivating design, their selection of wall lights has something to suit every decor style.
Hooked Wall Light
The wall light features Buster + Punch’s signature solid brass, cross-knurled, pendant with matt black rubber detailing. A solid brass hook allows the pendant to be hooked onto the light and the cable length adjusted to suit. The light comes with a large shade made from graphite powder coated metal and finished with solid brass coin screws. It can be hardwired into the wall or fitted with a surface mounted cable and plug.
Buster + Punch Electrical
Buster + Punch also offers light switches, dimmer switches, plug sockets, and USB chargers. Crafted from solid metals and featuring the signature design, they complement the brand’s other ranges and elevate your home details.
Buster + Punch Light Switches
Buster + Punch light switches are made from solid metal and are available in five different finishes which match with the brand’s hardware & lighting ranges. Electricity is one of the most important details in the home and these switches work perfectly in both residential and commercial settings.
1G Toggle Switch
A 1G toggle switch which comes in a variety of finishes. The toggle arm can be made from solid smoked bronze, steel or brass and features the signature, diamond-cut, cross knurl pattern.
Buster + Punch Dimmer Switches
The dimmer switches are made from solid metal with a diamond-cut knurled knob that feels and looks amazing in every room, commercial or residential. They are available in a range of metal finishes that you can mix and match.
2G Dimmer
A 2G dimmer switch finished in brass. The dimmer knob features the signature, diamond-cut, cross-knurl pattern and is made from solid brass. The dimmer switch features a flat plate made from lightly brushed brass. The plate is fixed with solid brass coin screws.
