5 Spooky Lighting Effects
Halloween is here! What is the point in spending money on impressive and scary decorations if noone can see them!? Lighting is one of the most important factors to creating a fabulous Halloween display. Here are 5 easy ideas to ensure your decorations are shown at their best.
1. Coloured Bulbs

Replace your regular light bulbs with coloured ones! Green’s reds and blue’s can create great effects inside and outside of your home at this time of year.
2. Uplighting
You can use simple projector lights or even an articulating desk lamp to shine lights upwards through spiderwebs and other spooky decorations. The light will cast shadows around the room which will only add to the drama.

3. Flickr Bulbs
The age-old movie classic – flickering light bulbs. Nothing will get you more on edge than this classic ‘haunted’ technique. Particularly effective in wall lights and chandeliers.
Top Tip – These are great for Christmas too!

4. LED Strip In Your Lanterns
You can purchase inexpensive LED strip that changes colour for your pumpkin lanterns! Stand out with colour changing lanterns instead of a dim candle light.

5. Black Lights
Let that UV facepaint glow with black lights or leave some grusome messages around your party space with UV pens.
